Ingredients
- 2 C self-rising cornmeal
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 oz. cracklins
- 1 1/4 C buttermilk
Direction
- Generously grease pan.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Measure cornmeal into a bowl and gradually add buttermilk.
- Add beaten egg and cracklins. Pour into the hot pan and bake for 10-15 minutes.
