Spinach and Ham Salad

Make eating a salad something you crave by adding country ham!

Spinach and Ham Salad

Prep Time 10 min. | Cook Time 0 min. | Total Time 10 min.

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz. package fresh spinach
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/4 lb. cooked ountry ham diced or cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Wash and drain:

  •  10 oz. package fresh spinach

Slice into rings:

  • 1 red onion

Cut into strips or dice:

  • 1/4 lb Clifty Farm Country Ham
  • Next, toss lightly with spinach. Make this dressing to be poured over salad at the very last minute.

Dressing:

Mix:

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp sugar or less, to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tsp celery seed

Garnish with:

  • 2 sliced hard cooked eggs
  • seasoned croutons (optional)
  • Use your imagination, add a little lettuce, pickled beets, cherry tomatoes, and julienne strips of cheese.
