Cracklin Cornbread

One of our best traditions in the South is our love for cornbread - add Country Cracklins for extra flavor and crunch!

Cracklin Cornbread
Prep Time 5 min. | Cook Time 15 min. | Total Time 20 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 C self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 oz. Clifty Farm cracklins
  • 1 1/4 C buttermilk

Directions:

  • Generously grease pan.
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Measure cornmeal into a bowl and gradually add buttermilk.
  • Add beaten egg and cracklins. Pour into the hot pan and bake for 10-15 minutes.
