Storing Fully Cooked Country Ham
Our fully cooked country ham does require refrigeration. It can be frozen or refrigerated for up to one year. Refer to the “best by” date stamped on the package for best quality. Once opened, cooked country ham can be refrigerated for up to a week.
Serve it cold, room temperature, or warm. Slice it as thick or thin as you like – perfect as a centerpiece, classic ham sandwich or wrap, charcuterie board, salad – Your options are endless!
Heating
When re-heating, add a little water to your baking dish and cover with foil so your ham will not become too dry.
- Thaw ham completely in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and remove from the package.
- Place in a shallow pan, add ¼ cup of water and cover tightly with foil.
- Heat Approximately 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Glaze if desired.
