BBQ Process

  • We start with fresh Boston Butts that are inspected for quality at our plants.
  • Next, our meats are hand-rubbed with our secret recipe (for flavor).
  • Our Boston Butts are then slow-cooked in our Southern Pride Smokers, which are made with high-quality components and techniques to ensure consistent heat and superior convection. The rotisserie style smoker slow cooks our Boston Butts for 16 hours, natural basting. Giving you that perfect moist texture and flavor—and it’s naturally smoked! Over real hardwood – creating a natural smoke flavor that can only come with time.
  • After the smoking and cooking process:
    • Pulled Pork – we hand-pull our Boston Butts to get that perfect texture. You may also combine it with one of our regional sauce flavors (optional) before being packaged.
    • Whole Boston Butt (Bone-In and Boneless) – Completely versatile & customizable – Slice it, pull it, sauce it – or not. It’s totally up to you!
    • They are quickly chilled, packaged and prepared to be shipped or stored.
