Clifty Farm Perfect For Any Occasion
At Clifty Farm Country Meats, enjoying a good meal with the folks we love and cherish the most is what we call living. If that meal includes any of our favorite Southern foods, then we are living well.
Since the 1950’s, we have focused on doing things the right way, for the right reasons, and that includes how we make our Country Ham and other dry-cured country meats.
From the quality of meat and cure ingredients to the time, effort, and attention to detail during the aging process, we make sure every product that leaves our smokehouse is one we’d serve to our own family and friends.
From our rafters to your table, a Southern tradition to enjoy for decades to come.
Our History
When our country hams first went on sale back in 1954, it soon became evident that curing and selling country hams was to become a family tradition. Truman Murphey, the founder of Clifty Farm, grew up in the country around Paris, Tennessee. Truman remembered the day when every farmer cured their own hams. Clifty Farm grew through four generations of the Murphy family. Today, Truman’s grandson, Michael, still oversees operations, carrying on the Clifty Farm family tradition.
